My dream

My dream

I was asked this morning “what is your dream”.

I thought about it a bit, and then started to reply.  As is usual for coaching questions, the first answer that came to mind was a bit vague.  It entailed an emotion rather than any visible state or action, and it went back to my earliest declaration of intent, when I was 5 (I was a rather morbid child) and contemplating what I’d like written on my tombstone.  I want to make a difference.

As I thought a little more about it, I asked myself “How do I want to make a difference?” and then I had to visualise myself in action.  I came up with this:

“My dream is to be making difference in people’s lives.  I want to educate people to make powerful changes that open up possibilities beyond their circumstances.  I want to see people positively affected by our interaction – and couples in love and happy regardless of whether they are struggling to conceive. ”

Does this speak to you?  I’d love your feedback!  (You can join me on Twitter or on Facebook).

  1. A very poignant sentiment. Sometimes this motivational words can be enough to actually take that final step into fertility, and it’s great that you want to make a difference.

    Very inspiring.

  2. Robyn Regan – Sara and Josh,I was reading your blog and come acosrs this posting. I need to tell you this as fact no matter what you are told about infertility .when God has your baby picked out for you .nothing and I mean nothing will stand in his way. I was unable to have children naturally however I knew that I was having a boy and I knew what he looked like and he spoke to me (I was still awake and about to go to sleep) I just looked at him, wondering how I could possibly have fallen asleep in an instant then I realised that I wasn’t asleep and asked the little boy who he was he told me he was my son I then asked him that if he was my son, then what was his name and he told me his name was Jordan. Jordan is now 10 and his brother, Brennan is 8.Please believe me when I say this God has got it under control and knows the desires of your heart. Try to visualise your life as you would like it to be and never give up.Good luck and I hope you let me know when you have your firstborn.xxxRobby
